Research on X-ray Live Inspection Method for Tensile Clamps of Transmission Lines

The traditional X-ray inspection of the tension clamp of the transmission line requires the power outage to climb the tower. It will be an inevitable trend of future development for live work to gradually replace power failure overhaul. For 110/220kV multi-circuit line operations on the same tower, this paper proposes two online and offline schemes, namely, the UAV guide/ground wire pulley hoisting method and the tower pulley hoisting method, and strict safety distance requirements are given. The prototype of X-ray detection device was subjected to arc discharge simulation test and live working application on site. The results show that: the application of the live working method is good, and the detection device is normal.
