Power System Line Protection Method Considering Large-scale New Energy Access

After the large-scale wind power is connected to the power system, it will cause the uncertainty items in the measured current of the traditional current differential protection, which will lead to the failure of the traditional current criterion and the misoperation or passive protection. In order to solve this problem, this paper puts forward a line protection method of power system considering new energy connecting. Firstly, the influence mechanism of wind power "T" connection on current differential protection is studied, and then a new amplitude criterion is put forward to reduce the influence of wind power. The reliability of the proposed criterion in case of external fault and the sensitivity of action in case of internal fault are analyzed. Finally, experimental verification based on the hardware-in-the-loop simulation platform shows that the proposed criterion is not affected by wind power, and the probability of protection misoperation is small.
