Analysis of Quasi-steady-state Sensitivity Matrix Based on DC Power Flow

The sensitivity analysis method based on DC power flow is widely used in applied fields such as power system real-time control and power market. However, in-depth quantitative analysis of the features of quasi-steady-state sensitivity matrix has been reported rarely. In this paper, on the basis of analyzing the inverse of DC power flow coefficient matrix, quantitative analysis for the features of conventional sensitivity matrix and quasi-steady-state sensitivity matrix is carried out based on the definition. On this basis, the essential reason that the quasi-steady-state sensitivity matrix is independent of the selection of reference bus is analyzed theoretically, and the property of the quasi-steady-state sensitivity matrix remains unchanged when multiplied by the linearized distribution coefficient matrix is revealed. Moreover, the linearly weighted relation between the quasi-steady-state sensitivity matrix and the conventional sensitivity matrix is discovered and proved. Finally, a numerical case is given to verify the conclusions put forward.
