Tertiary Voltage Control Method for AC-DC Systems Considering the Coupling Relationship Between the Sending and Receiving Ends

In a DC control method with a fixed power at the sending end and a fixed arc extinguishing angle at the receiving end, the regulation of the sending and receiving converter stations will have an impact on each other. For this reason, this paper proposes a tertiary voltage control method for AC-DC systems which takes into account the coupling relationship between the sending and receiving ends. The new model takes that the DC power and the discrete regulator remain in the same initial operating state during the tertiary voltage control cycle as the basic assumption, and considers the specific voltage reactive power correlation between the sending and receiving converter stations. The algorithm is solved directly using the prediction-correction original pairwise interior point method. The effectiveness of the method proposed in the thesis is verified by simulation using a constructed AC-DC grid with an IEEE39 nodes corrected systems at both the sending and receiving ends as an example.
