The Simulation Method of Smart Building MicroGrid against Extreme Icing Weather Events

The frequent occurrence of extreme meteorological weather, especially ice and snow, bring major challenges to the stable operation of power grids. Meanwhile, with the participation of new energy power generation, energy storage and other technologies on buildings of dual-carbon power grid, the role of buildings has transformed from an energy consumer to an energy producer or seller. Therefore, the relevant research on the simulation of smart buildings in improving the grid response to extreme ice and snow weather was constructed. The concept of dual-carbon smart building microgrid was proposed with the definition of its composition and function. The mechanism models of both extreme ice weather events and the smart building microgrid were established. A hybrid system simulation solution considering multi-time characteristics was proposed to provide a method and platform for the research on building microgrid to improve power grid performance.
