Comparative Analysis of Software Complexes in the Calculation of the Cavity Cooling System of an Electric Machine

When designing electrical machines, it becomes necessary to assess the temperature state of its active parts. There are several approaches to assessing thermal processes and designing cooling systems using various software products, each of which has its own advantages and disadvantages. The paper proposes an approach to modeling a cavity cooling system for an electric machine in Ansys Fluent. The results of calculating the cavity cooling system of an electric machine, obtained in Ansys Fluent and Ansys Motor-CAD, have been evaluated.
