8 Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) Storage using Blockchain for Smart Healthcare

Smart healthcare system require digital records of a patient for diagnosis the disease of the patient. These digital records are called electronic healthcare records (EHR). Since these records are crucial documents for the patient and tempering in these records may harm to the patient health. Efficient storage and security of these records is major responsibility of smart healthcare service provider. In this chapter we have described the use of blockchain technology for efficient and secure storage of these EHR.
