Extractive Summarization of Scientific Articles

Scientific articles are continuously growing on a daily basis, which makes it difficult to keep up with the latest updates. Hence, this problem can be solved by summarizing these articles. The methodology used aims to summarize single documents and apply the extractive approach to generate the summary using GloVe as an embedding technique. This methodology was applied to the CL-SciSumm 2019 dataset with results of a 0.124465 F-score measure of ROUGE-2.
