Health Monitoring and Observatory System for Paralysed Patients using Blynk Application

Paralyzed state is the state in which a patient undergoes spinal cord injuries, strokes, or a condition that affects the nervous system of the human body. It is a condition where a patient entering this state is considered a disabled person. Rehabilitation of paralyzed persons is difficult because his/her minute improvement is not noticed thus it takes days, weeks, and even years together. Due to this current situation, the bystanders or hospital staff cannot notice any abnormal conditions or slight body movements which act like life-saving indications that are always unnoticed. To prevent this situation our proposed project is introduced, it consists of sensors that monitor different vital information and also help the patients to convey their messages to the bystanders. The information is stored with a separate database and using an IoT platform such as the Blynk application the alert message or abnormal conditions are noted and viewed by care-takers and also the doctor.
