Design of Rudder Controller Based on STM32 and FPGA

Brushless DC motor is widely used in industry, and it is also applied to the digital rudder. This paper aims to design an embedded and miniaturized rudder controller for the embedded applications. In the design, STM32 is used to realize control strategy and data transmission, FPGA and MOS tubes are used to realize motor commutation and motor drive, the separation of the two parts helps to improve anti-interference and universality. Furthermore, hardware design, control strategy and software logic are discussed in the article, and the modeling and simulation result means that the controller has a good performance. The project practice shows that the design has development and application value.
