Evolving Airborne Bathymetric LiDAR to new depths with Artificial Intelligence

Airborne LiDAR Topo-Bathy systems are extensively being used to map coastal zones and inland waters for an increasing number of applications. Two of the most common questions associated with airborne LiDAR Topo-Bathy systems are; what point densities can be achieved and to what water depth can the system penetrate. Technology is continually improving pushing systems to map deeper, faster and at higher densities than previously possible.Teledyne Geospatial? have recently invested significant research and development efforts to bring forth the next evolution in bathymetric LiDAR sensors with the CZMIL (Coastal Zone Mapping and Imaging Lidar) SuperNova system.
