Identifying SCADA Network Security Through Network Reconnaissance and Firewall Filter

Along with technological advances, hacking techniques are growing rapidly which are generally used to perform Cyberattacks. Cyberattacks can be performed by irresponsible parties with extracting information, attacking and sabotaging vulnerable systems such as SCADA system networks in the industry. Network reconnaissance and firewall filter are methods that can use as a SCADA network security test. These methods include performing various port scanning techniques, intrusion detection, and blocking intrusion attempts. Various port scanning techniques can be detected and SCADA devices can be protected using a firewall filter. In this experiment, network reconnaissance and firewall filters are proven to improve SCADA network security.
