Comparative Analysis of the HTS Bulks’ Levitation Characteristics Calculated by the Indirect Coupling Method

Nowadays, in terms of the high temperature superconducting (HTS) bulk, there are lots of problems to be solved, especially in the performance of dynamic. Since the permanent magnetic guideway's (PMG) irregularity data are not available at present, the motion state of the HTS bulks is also difficult to obtain under the relevant working condition. On account of this, this article introduces the tested track irregularity spectrum of the high-speed railway as the PMGs irregularity. In order to obtain the HTS bulks’ motion state so as to study its levitation characteristics factually, this article proposes the indirect coupling method to realize this: establish the model in the dynamic software SIMPACK to get the HTS bulks’ motion state and input the data back to COMSOL for electromagnetic calculation. This study makes a newly method of obtaining the HTS bulks’ motion state caused by the specific PMGs irregularity, providing a more accurate reference for the HTS bulks’ levitation characteristics.
