Using IoT Technology to Automate Complex Biotechnical Objects

The analysis of the feasibility of using the technology of the Internet of Things (IoT) for the automation of biotechnical objects was carried out on the example of temperature control when growing crops. The software and hardware implementation of the information management system applicable to various biotechnical objects was carried out on the basis of the Arduino integrated board and the Lab View visual programming environment. In addition to reading information from sensors, an operator interface in the form of a web page was also developed, and the recording of measured values into a database for further processing was provided. Data is stored on a memory device in the form of tables unified with data processing programs. There is a possibility of storing files in the cloud and remote control of technological processes. Also the software provides for address polling of sensors, which makes it possible to evaluate the change in the monitored parameter at the location of the sensor. With the help of IoT technology there is a possibility to control and manage biotechnical objects.
