Measurement Uncertainty Evaluation for Validating RF/EMC Chambers from 30 MHz to 1000 MHz

The performance of an anechoic chamber after construction must be validated before it can be put into use. However, the validation methods and the examples of validation uncertainty must be improved. For example, systematic error as large as 1.95 dB from 30 MHz to 200 MHz is missing for the normalized site attenuation (NSA) method in the update IEC international standards CISPR 16-1-4:2019. Both the uncertainty sources and their value must be improved, too. The solutions to these problems have been provided based on many validation experiences and research on the calculable biconical antennas, which is also part of the research in CISPR /A working group 1.
