Bio-Chips for Fast Medial Tests Networks

As we are moving into a new era with data-driven applications, not only datasets need to be analyzed in a smart way (with various kinds of neural models), but also new datasets have to be generated and observed from our living environment. As a result, life quality can be enhanced and improved with better usage of natural resources. In this paper, we will introduce new types of sensors which can be used for fast medical tests. Specific cases will be covered for PCR tests under COVID-19 pandemic. To achieve this goal, a new bio-chip integrates microfluidic operations (cutting, moving, mixing), location sensing, and temperature control will be introduced. Bio-protocols related to certain medical tests can be derived and applied to target samples to enhance test accuracy and throughput. Fabricated in standard CMOS technology, this novel biochip enables new solutions for medical tests related to disease diagnosis, cell therapy, and drug development.
