Modeling of Electrical Modes of Arc Furnace with Fuzzy Adjustment of Arc Lengths

A fuzzy law for regulating the lengths of three-phase arcs of an arc steelmaking furnace is proposed. The type and design of the fuzzy output system are substantiated. The structural scheme of the model of the offered law for its inclusion in existing systems of automatic regulation (SAR) of lengths of arcs of a chipboard is developed. A computer model of SAR arc lengths was created and comparative studies of the dynamics of the existing and proposed chipboard SAR electrical modes (EM) were conducted. The results of research have shown the improvement of phase-based autonomy of regulation and dynamic accuracy of stabilization of arc lengths using the proposed law. As a result, the indicators of energy efficiency and electromagnetic compatibility of particleboard increase.
