Opposition Based Group Search Optimized Optimal Scheduling of Fixed Head hydrothermal Power System

This study uses Opposition Based Group Search Optimization (OGSO) for the optimal scheduling of thermal plant with fixed-head hydro units. OGSO is implemented here for enhancing the performance and accuracy of the system. The suggested approach uses opposition -based learning and also focuses on a sophisticated refreshment job. In five test issues and one test systems, the feasibility of suggested method has been proven. The effects of the strategy suggested are contrasting with those of other development strategies. The recommended approach is more suitable.
