Secondary Network Underground Direct Burial Power Distribution of Daaru Salam, Mogadishu

Over the past decade, there have been many fires in the capital city the most common cause of these fires are electric poles, even if they are not the main cause of the fire, they are certainly the main contributor to the spread it, so to reduce this problem it is necessary to change the electricity supply system. Because of its dependability, safety, and aesthetic qualities, in addition to the ever-present increasing emphasis on the environmental consequences of various phases of power generation and distribution, underground power distribution has grown increasingly popular. The procedure of running these cables has become more cost-effective and efficient as a result of technological advancements in this field. Underground cables are more expensive to install than overhead wires. However, when compared to an overhead system, the maintenance cost of an underground system is quite minimal. This paper shows the direct laying underground distribution such as dimensions of trench, correct size of cable, AutoCAD software was implemented in our project this study is carried out in order to better define and comprehend the practice's numerous limits, as well as to consider potential expansion options. Further research should be done taking into account the load forecasting with economically consideration.
