Performance Analysis of Vortex Tube-Ejector Absorption Refrigeration Cycle Driven by Ocean Thermal Energy

The development and utilization of Ocean Thermal Energy has received extensive attention and research, but there are relatively few studies on the refrigeration cycle driven by temperature difference energy. The traditional ejector refrigeration cycle has the disadvantages of large throttling loss and low cycle efficiency. This paper proposes a vortex tube-ejector absorption refrigeration cycle driven by Ocean Thermal Energy, the vortex tube and ejector are used to combine their characteristics, and the refrigeration capacity of vortex tube is increased through the low pressure created by the ejector, so as to improve the cycle efficiency. The parameters of each point in the cycle are calculated through programming, and the characteristics and efficiency of the cycle are analyzed. When the heat source temperature is 27°C and the cold source temperature is 5°C, the COP of the system can reach 1 %, and the refrigeration efficiency is 53.77%.
