A Novel DC Drop Point Selection Method Considering the Multiple Operation Scenarios of Receiving-End Power Grid

Existing studies on DC drop points do not consider the operation mode changes of the receiving-end power grid, and the results obtained are usually optimistic which may not meet the requirements for safe and stable operation of the power grid. To this end, this article proposes a novel DC drop point selection method considering the diversification of grid operation modes in multiple scenarios. First, according to the typical operation scenarios of the power grid, calculate the initial value of each indicator in different scenarios under all candidate drop points. Then, the normalization processing and simple subjective weighting of each index value under different drop points are carried out, and the gray incidence coefficient matrix is further calculated. Finally, the classic TOPSIS method is used to sort the gray correlation coefficient matrix to obtain the optimal dropping point plan. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified by case studies.
