Variable Weight Power Flow Entropy Based on Load Interval Partitioning

In view of the phenomenon that some lines in the current power grid are overloaded and some lines are wasted, the traditional power flow entropy can not reflect the physical significance, this paper proposes an improved variable weight power flow entropy method to solve this problem. According to the probability distribution of the line load rate, the line load rate is divided into several intervals, and the weight is assigned to calculate the line load rate separately. Finally, the performance of the proposed method is compared with that of other power flow entropy calculation methods through an example test and application in network reconstruction. The analysis results show that the proposed method can further optimize the power flow distribution and avoid the network interlocking failure and the waste of line capacity.
