Enhanced Communication in Void Region of Underwater Wireless Sensor Network using Greedy Geographic Forwarding system based on Geospatial division Protocol

Underwater wireless sensor networks utilising Greedy geographic forwarding based on geospatial division protocol (GGFGD) are being investigated to see if energy efficiency can be improved over Depth controlled routing protocol (DCR). The following are the materials and procedures: Using geographical division, greedy geographic forwarding performs better than depth-controlled routing because it uses nodes in vertex-adjacent, edge-adjacent, and surface-adjacent small cubes (SC). 34 samples are gathered, with 17 samples taken to the data sets from each group. Aqua sim in the NS2 simulator tests the suggested method in a virtual underwater setting. The proposed GGFGD Protocol’s performance is measured using three metrics: throughput, energy consumption, and packet delivery ratio. The energy efficiency of the proposed Greedy geographic forwarding based on geospatial division Protocol is improved by avoids of void nodes and forward data packets. The Throughput mean value is (39.3618), Energy consumption mean value is (0.9953) and Packet delivery ratio mean value is (95.4000) achieved using GGFGD protocol. This work has obtained significance (<0.01). The simulation results show a reduction of packet loss and improve the energy efficiency of the sensor network using the proposed GGFGD protocol in comparison with DCR.
