Structural-Thermal-Optical-Performance (STOP) Analysis of a Lens Stack for Realization of a Digital Twin of an automotive LiDAR

In the current work, the authors discuss a method, which can be used for coupling of thermo-mechanical and optical simulation (also known as structural, thermal, and optical performance analysis or STOP). We present the thermo-mechanical simulation conducted on a reduced complexity module of an automotive LiDAR and how the results are then transferred to the optical simulation using an easy-to-handle method, which takes the 1
