Sensing in a toroidal coupled dual-band EIT terahertz metadevice

The refractive index sensing is explored by exciting dual band electromagnetically induced transparency in a toroidal dipole-based terahertz metasurface. The high-sensitivity of the toroidal resonance could be significant in the design of highly sensitive multiband sensors and photonic devices.
