Overview of Technologies for Transmitting Audio Streams over Low-Speed and Unstable Communication Channels

The article presents the conducted research of intelligent means of encoding and restoring audio information with improved quality indicators in the conditions of using unstable low-speed and unstable communication channels. In the article we examine the existing technologies used for encoding and decoding audio information, and evaluate their applicability to low-speed and unstable communication channels. The technologies of restoring and improving the quality of audio information in the event of transmission losses are also considered.
