Developing an Information System to Automate the Control and Monitoring of the Current State of Transport Facilities

This article is focused on the enhancement of transportation facilities' life cycle, based on the development and implementation of information systems and monitoring of their technical condition. A quality parameters tree was formed for the functioning of transportation facilities. A model of an intelligent information system for ensuring the life cycle of transportation facilities was developed, including a network of electronic security devices, a database of object states, a geoinformation system, information models, a decision-making support system, and other software and hardware. A design of infrastructure facilities’ information models based on observation of their operational characteristics through their life cycle was carried out and presented in the paper.
