Automation of Control of the Processes of Formation of Glow Discharge Plasma to Predict the Time of Correction of the Quality of the Working Surfaces of Tools

The conditions for automating the control of glow discharge plasma generators to ensure a given quality of tools in the implementation of author's technological processes are considered. An algorithm for the functioning of an automated system for monitoring and controlling glow discharge plasma generators is proposed, which allows optimizing the hardening processes of metalworking tools. Using the capabilities of continuous neural network monitoring, effective control of the technological parameters of the process during the formation of a glow discharge plasma at technological transitions is provided. The proposed control system makes it possible to predict the high reproducibility of the quality of the working surfaces of tools for creating a thermodynamic structure in the surface layer. At the same time, the formation of a thermodynamic structure on the working surfaces of a cutting wedge with a small sharpening angle and having a complex profile does not cause a change in its geometry.
