Improvement of On-line Measuring Device for Carbon Content in Fly Ash of Power Plant

The measurement of carbon content in fly ash is of great significance to the combustion monitoring of power plant boilers. In view of the present sampling device which speed of sampling fly ash is slow, poor measurement timeliness, condensation pipe and serious agglomeration in the ash circuit, we designed a set of the online measurement of fly ash carbon content by using the microwave devices, on the basis of solving the above problems, the carbon content of fly ash can be reflected with a small delay. The entire working process of the device takes about 7-9 minutes, the measurement error can be guaranteed within ±0.35%, which has guiding significance to ensure the safety and economic operation of the boiler.
