Analysis of Trajectory Features for Small UAVs Recognition

This paper deals with trajectory features of small targets for UAV recognition. The defects of signal features used for UAV recognition are noted and trajectory signs as an illuminator of opportunity are discussed. Much attention is given to flight characteristics of birds and UAVs. And what is more, it is discussed in details about analytical results of target’s trajectory signs recorded by passive bistatic radars. The conclusion about possibility of using such characteristics for classification is also proposed. Therewith it is reported about the problem of creating a target recognition algorithm based on trajectory features.
