Multi-objective Optimization of the Operational Characteristics for Turbogenerator TVV-360

The multi-objective optimization of the design of a powerful turbogenerator has been considered, the following functions have been used as goals: static overload (maximized), the amplitude of oscillations of the stator core, the amplitude of the pulsating moment during a short circuit (both minimized). Near-linear relationships connecting the entire variety of Pareto-optimal solutions have been obtained. The theoretical justifications for the obtained results have been shown. Application of the multi-objective optimization technique has been proposed in the article. So it made it possible to improve the performance of the reference turbogenerator design for all selected quality criteria. A TVV-360 turbogenerator with hydrogen-water cooling has been considered as a reference one.
