Modeling the Primary Signal Detection and Processing System of a Gamma Scintillation Spectrometer

The article describes a developed circuit and details of its processing the signal from a scintillation detector along the way to the input of the analog-to-digital converter of a gamma spectrometer. Oscillograms of the primary signal taken from the output of the scintillation detector are given for some sources of ionizing gamma radiation. Requirements to processing the initial signal are formulated. Structural and circuit diagrams of the processing circuit are developed and modeling of its operation is done. The resulting diagrams of signals are presented.
