Role of ICT enabled Cloud Learning Management System tools in Fostering Entrepreneurship Amongst Youth

This study intends to understand the effect of ICT enabled cloud learning management system tools (ICT tools) with performance expectancy (PE), habit (Hb), self-efficacy (SE), skill development programs (SDP) and entrepreneurship intention (EI) on entrepreneurship behavior (EB). The ICT tools adoption are less explored but they can facilitate the entrepreneurship education and foster the entrepreneurship behavior among youth in India. Self-employment has the answer for the problem of jobs among the youth. Developing countries must build and support entrepreneurship and skill development programmes and the institutions that enable them. ICT tools adoption should be considered as an acceptable medium for speeding the expansion of India's entrepreneurial programs to develop the entrepreneurship intention and behavior. Data were obtained using structured questionnaires from 314 respondents aged over 21 who benefited from skill development entrepreneurial programmes in rural and semi-urban areas of Delhi-NCR. We found that the skill development program has maximum impact it explains 25 percent variance, ICT tools is the second highest contributor it explains 23 percent variance, self-efficacy along with performance expectancy explain 21 percent variance and habit explains 18 percent variance in entrepreneurial intention. In the context of entrepreneurship behavior, the evidence indicates that ICT tools along with PE, Hb, SE, SDP and EI improve desire and effort to learn. The study results have important managerial implications and recommend that ICT tools, PE, SE, Hb, SDP significantly affect entrepreneurship intention, thus enhancing entrepreneurial behavior among the youth in India. Government institutions and businesses can assist the younger generation in acquiring the necessary training and abilities.
