A High Gain Planar End-Fire Circularly Polarized Antenna

In this paper, a planar end-fire circularly polarized (CP) antenna with high gain is investigated. The proposed antenna which consists of two V-shaped dipoles and substrate integrate waveguide (SIW), is Yagi and complementary structure. To obtain high gain, some parameters of the antenna are researched and analyzed. Simulated results indicate that the impedance bandwidth (12.42

) and 3-dB axial-ratio (AR) bandwidth (16.97%) of the proposed antenna, its gain can reach up to 6.45 dBic.
