Design and analysis of sickel shape patch antenna with flexible non-woven material for IoT applications

A sickel shape patch antenna is presented for an upper indoor connectivity such as IOT applications. The proposed antenna consists of a sickel shape and four slots with incremental length. The mirrored F type slots provide a frequency isolation with port isolation. The resonating bandwidth is (

) at 5.8GHz with a bandwidth ratio of 15:1. For rejection, two slots with incremental distances are introduced to reject the lower and higher resonating signals. A non-woven glass microfiber-reinforced PTFE composite RT/duroid 5880 with
$\varepsilon\mathrm{r}=2.2$
which is suitable for all SOC based electronic design and have good compatibility towards reduced EMI/EMC is used.
