SAR Moving Target Detection with Low Range Sampling Based on Compressed Sensing

Under the traditional Nyquist sampling theorem, high-resolution large-scene synthetic aperture radar imaging brings a heavy burden to A/D conversion and data storage and transmission systems. Compressed sensing radar is a new technique which combines with the traditional radar via compressed sensing; its mission is target detection and imaging which over lap with the traditional radar system. In compressed sensing, a low-dimensional, non-adaptive, linear projection is used to acquire an efficient representation of a compressible signal directly using just a few measurements, so that it can reduce the requirements of hardware. This paper introduces the basic theory of synthetic aperture radar moving target detection, analyzes the moving target detection method based on compressed sensing, and makes simulation verification.
