Design and Preliminary Test results of a L-band Phased Array Feed for QTT

Phased array feeds (P AFs), which placed near the focus of a reflector, provide continuous multiple beams with good performance. Relative to traditional horn feeds, P AFs for radio telescopes have a larger and denser field of view and a higher sky survey speed. This paper presents the composition and preliminary test results of a P AF system for QTT (Qi Tai Telescope), which will be next world-class fully steerable radio telescope.
