Introduction to the First Issue

On behalf of the Steering Committee and the Editorial Board of the IEEE Journal on Flexible Electronics (J-FLEX), it is with great pride that I am writing to announce the publication of this inaugural issue. Launching this new Journal would not have been possible without the outstanding contributions from the Editorial Board members and from IEEE.
