Design and Verification of Mimic Gateway Based on Embedded Platform

Embedded platform plays an important role in industrial control and Internet of Things applications, and its security has been increasingly targeted by hackers in recent years. This paper considers the MCU (Microcontroller Unit) security solution based on the endogenous security and proposes a mimic MCU architecture based on the mimic defense model of “dynamic heterogeneous redundancy”. On this basis, the prototype board of simulation microcontroller is designed and implemented, and the application program of mimic gateway based on MCU is developed. Finally, the feasibility, security and reliability of the mimic MCU structure are verified by simulating various attack scenarios through experiments.
