Research of Magnetic Acoustic Emission Inspection Based on on-board storage CNG Cylinder

In this study, CNG steel gas cylinders were tested based on the principle of magneto acoustic emission non-destructive testing. The characteristics of the magneto acoustic emission signal at the end and the middle of the cylinder were studied. The study showed that the characteristics of the magneto acoustic signal are quite different at the end and the middle of the cylinder, the residual stress levels at the two ends of the cylinder are significantly higher than the bottle body, and the residuals at the bottleneck and the bottom of the cylinder The stress levels are relatively higher, which has certain guiding significance for the subsequent application of magneto acoustic emission nondestructive testing technology to gas cylinder testing.
