Optimal Spectral Usage and Energy Efficient S-to-U Multiband Optical Networking

We investigated and showed that using the U-band instead of the complete S-band is a more effective solution for increasing capacity while still reducing energy consumption and cost in transparent and translucent network designs. © 2022 The Author(s)
