Research on Optimal Adjustment of FAST Active Reflector Based on Nonlinear Objective Programming

FAST is the most sensitive radio telescope in the world. Firstly, in this paper, a bi objective nonlinear programming model is established, considering the factors affecting the adjustment of reflective panel. Using the idea of hierarchical sequence, the sum of the distances between adjacent nodes of the main cable is the main optimization objective, and the radial expansion of the actuator is the secondary optimization objective. The ideal paraboloid equation is determined by linear search algorithm. Then, the coordinate change method is introduced, and it is found that the nodes to be optimized are distributed in a ring and band on the rotating paraboloid. Taking the mean square deviation of the optimized node relative to the ideal paraboloid as small as possible and the variation range of the actual distance between adjacent nodes as small as possible as the optimization objective, through multiple cyclic traversal and variable step search algorithm, we obtain the optimal reflector adjustment scheme. Finally, through the geometric analysis of the number of cable points that the paraboloid can receive the signal, the range of the spherical received signal is determined, and the two are compared with the total value to obtain the reception rate of the feed cabin under the paraboloid and spherical.
