Features of Data Exchange of Highly Automated Public Transport with a Control System

The article presents the interim results of a study of forming the functional architecture of the dispatching control system for public transport with the advent of highly automated public transport. In particular, the issue of the composition of information protocols for data exchange between a vehicle and a dispatching system were investigated. The first section analyzes and synthesizes the capabilities of modern dispatch control systems in the context of the main control systems based on open sources of information. The second section analyzes the applicability of the SAE classification to route passenger transport, taking into account the specifics of public transport operations. In the third section, the possibilities of modern automated dispatch control systems (ADCS) to switch to automatic control are considered. In the fourth section, the material presented in the first three paragraphs is used to form a list of dispatching commands, develop their format, as well as the mode of exchanging information messages between a vehicle at various levels of automation and application programs of an automated dispatching system.
