Six-Switches APWM-LLC Resonant Converter for High Input-Output Voltage Ratio Applications

This paper presents dual-output asymmetric pulse width modulated (APWM) LLC converter for applications that demand two dc-controlled output voltages. The proposed topology uses six-switches inverter network with two output ports. The fixed frequency APWM strategy is adopted. The proposed modulation scheme eliminated the prohibited states of the proposed converter, and it enables the converter to operate with different voltage gains by varying the duty cycle. To verify the proposed converter and modulation scheme, selected simulated results are presented for the proposed LLC converter.
