An Empirical Study on the Teaching Effects of Case Teaching Method in the International Finance Course under the Background of Information Technology

With the development of information technology and the advent of the Internet age, newly sprouted things such as short videos, news portals and learning platforms have gradually enriched the traditional teaching forms, in which the case teaching method is representative. Teachers can use modern teaching platforms and tools, such as Rain Classroom, TikTok and MOOC, to further enrich teaching cases and innovate the forms of case-based teaching. In the background of information technology, in order to study the teaching effects and influencing factors of innovative case teaching, this paper selects the course of International Finance for empirical analysis, and finds that colleges and universities should make efforts, both investment and research, in teachers’ training, teaching content, teaching facilities and so on. Only in this way, colleges and universities can improve the actual effects of case teaching mode and achieve the purpose of training practical skills for applied talents.
