Visual analysis of female and innovation: research progress and hotspot analysis

The aim of this study is to investigate the academic progress in the female and innovation study. Firstly, this paper used the systematic literature research method to screen the literature related to women and innovation, and obtained 130 relevant papers which are published between 2005 and 2021. Then CiteSpace 5.8.R2 visualization software was used to perform co-citation analysis and research hotspot and frontier analysis on the literature. At the end of the paper, future research directions on women’s innovation were proposed.
