Channel Estimation Based On Pilot Signal and Iterative Method for TDD Based Massive MIMO Systems

This paper applies an iterative method to low computational complexity LS algorithm. An orthogonality property obtained from Hadamard code utilizes with pilot signal to identify base stations in cellular networks. These techniques are used to estimate channel state information and mitigates the effect of full pilot contamination or full pilot reuse in TDD based massive MIMO systems. Simulation results show that performance of an achievable downlink rate (b/s/Hz) obtained from the proposed technique is higher than that of both the LS algorithm with and without base station identity codes in time-varying fading channel.
