Blood Phenotyping and Grouping based on Plate Test using Image Processing Strategies

Blood Prototyping is arguably the most fundamental clinical trial and most frequently performed test worldwide. It is performed prior to any significant surgery and any blood movement. However, because it is such a simple test, even the smallest error can result in significant results, which may also result in death. Indeed, even in the modern era, simple techniques are still used to determine one's blood type, which are impervious to human error. This paper examines another method for determining one's blood type, utilizing image handling strategies to circumvent this possibility. The majority of errors in determining one's blood group originate in the inability to distinguish the source of agglutination from the blood test and the reagents used. The purpose of this paper is to identify the agglutination quirk by analyzing a blood test image and then determining the blood grouping subject to which reagents agglutinate or do not agglutinate when combined with the blood test. Another technique for blood phenotyping is based on the plate test and image handling strategies to determine the agglutination peculiarity (between blood test and reagent). A compact framework for ABO-Rh blood composition and blood phenotyping has been introduced that automates all review procedures, including mixing/centrifugation, reading, and translation of results. The framework was validated using blood donor tests.
