Design of Mango-Shaped Slot Patch with Haferman Carpet DGS for Wireless Applications

This paper proposed a mango shaped slot microstrip patch (MSPA) with a Haferman carpet defected ground surface for advanced wireless communications and related applications. The presented structure is also observed and analyzed with different materials of substrate to understand the execution of the proposed mango shaped slot MSPA. It is a combination of both naturally inspired and deterministic geometrical structures. This antenna excited by a wave port microstrip feed and resonates at 2.4 GHz with enhanced radiation parameters.
