Comparative Analysis of Different Interleaved DC-DC Converters

Interleaved DC-DC converters are tremendously find its applications such as stand-alone system, photovoltaic system, battery charging system and motor driving system. In recent days the DC-DC converters are used in several fields like electric vehicles, fuel cell system and uninterruptable power supplies (UPS). The conventional DC-DC converters suffers from high voltage stress across the switches, high current stress in switches and large amount of current flows in inductor. The interleaved dc to dc converters overcome these problems which mainly uses additional inductors and switches. Here the different types of interleaved DC-DC converters are analyzed and parameters are compared. The simulation is carried out in PSIM.
